"The critics have always been our enemy because of the self-appointed, self-anoited, houlier-than-thou approach they take. Even though they rarely have credentials, never went to school, never studied journalism and have no ethics, they have the point of view that their opinion is more important than ours. They are a bane to society, a completely worthless form of life as we know it on this planet." -Gene Simmons

Ludicra - The Tenant
I've seen Ludicra several times over the years. They're a great band. I've always thought their albums were a little uneven. I was thinking the same about this one, some great songs and some that aren't as great. I'm not much of a Black Metal fan, which seems to be a big influence on Ludicra. I wouldn't call 'em a Black Metal band though. It's not that simple. Long story short, this is the only CD I've listened in the car for about the past two weeks. This album awesome. Layered wall of hypnotic goin' off! With peaks and valleys. It's a journey you know.

Accept - Midnight Highway
Interesting odd mix of influences. Judas Priest meets the Scorpions at Alice Coopers house. This album is a curiosity. It has it's moments, but overall it's not so great. The whole thing is a little bit odd.
Fun Facts: This is a best of/compilation album. I've had this for 25 years an never knew that until today. It's stuff from their first two or three releases.
Accept - Kaizoku - Ban
Recorded live in 1985. Commercial pop metal somewhere between the Scorpions and AC/DC. This is alright, but if I'm gonna listen to Accept it's gonna be Balls To The Wall or Restless And Wild, and that's about it.
Fun Facts: This is a six song EP. It was re-released in 1992 and was retitled Live In Japan.
