The Rolling Stones - Goat's Head Soup

1973
The follow up to Exile On Main St. Amazingly this sounds more focused yet more drugged out and tired than it's preprocessor.

Alice Cooper - Killer

1971
Hard rock that gets psychedelic. A classic.

Windhand - Practice Space Demo

2010
Sabbath inspired doom. A couple cool slow songs. Might remind you of Goatsnake.

Ufomammut - Eve

2010
Heavy and spacey trip out journey. It's a long trip. This album made lots of best of 2010 list.

The Howling Wind - Into The Cryosphere

2010
Awesome Black Metal.

Dragonfly - Dragonfly

1968
Blue Cheer inspired psyche with touches of The Who here and there. Bluesy fuzzed out guitar rockin'. Killer stuff.

Lalo Shifrin - Bullit OST

1968
Jazzy Funky 70's gameshow vibe. Smooth.

Chuck Berry - St. Louis to Liverpool

1964
Lots of catchy toe tappin'. Good singing and good guitar rockin' in a 50's style, but the Rolling Stones, Beatles and Beach Boys may all come to mind at certain points during this record. Pretty cool record for 1964 and I'm guessing he's doing a bunch of stuff he came up with in the 50's.

Kings Destroy - And The Rest Will Surely Perish

2010
Some pretty darn good Doom rock...eh, more of an Eyehategod riff thing than Doom.

Earth - Angels Of Darkness, Demons Of Light 1

2011
Really slow songs.

Dusted Angel - Earth Sick Mind

2010
Bunch of mid tempo rockers.

Albatross Overdrive - Albatross Overdrive

2010
Stoner Rock. They do it real good and straight forward. I think I would enjoy these guys a lot more seeing them live.

Y & T - Facemelter

2010
This album has been getting a lot of play lately (in my car). The lyrics are standout on this release. Well writen pop metal songs with some excellent guitar playing. Vocals make it all work. Sounds like this album could have come out in 1987. I suppose the nostalgia factor is high on this one for me, but I'm enjoying this album more and more with each listen. Y&T was a way rockin' band in the early 80's. Somewhere they took a wrong turn. This album is closer to their good stuff than their bad stuff. Cheese factor is high when you start paying attention to the lyrics, but it's good to know they're not faking it.

Bobby "Blue" Bland - Two Steps Away From The Blues

1961
