Mr. Bison - Holy Oak

This is a three piece with two guitars and drums. Most people wouldn't notice the lack of bass. You might notice a lot of guitar rockin going on though. They get a funky Hendrix style 70's rocking going on. They kinda remind me of Golden Void sometimes.Hard rock/Stoner rock three piece and all three guys are named Matteo. They're from Italy. Good stuff.Reminds me of the more straight forward moments of Monster Magnet.

Mountain Dust - Seven Storms

Proto Metal that has good vocals and some unexpected elements like slide guitar and organ. Bluesy Psyche Rock. Their previous album, "Nine Years" was one of my favorite from 2016. This one is recommended as well. These guys are from Montréal, QC, Canada.

La Iglesia Atomica - Gran Muro de Coma

Long jam out psychedelic instrumental jams. Like Earthless. These guys are from San Juan Puerto Rico.

Klandestine - Green Acid of the Last Century

Very much along the lines of Sleep. These guys have got there own thing going on. Clean spacey vocals and good song writing. These guys are from Magelang, Central Java. Indonesia. Good stuff.

Khayman - The Gentle Art of Self-Destruction

These guys get described as stoner rock, but they're sounding closer to metal to me, like 90's metal. You know, but modern and bigger sounding. These guys are from Guadalajara, Spain.

Iron Pike - I & II

Slow and Heavy Doom. This is two ep's released on a cassette. Straight forward no nonsense heavy rockin' with a bunch of yelling. This band is from Malmo Sweeden.

Hundred Year Old Man - Breaching

These guys seem pretty serious and angry. The drum sound really gives this music a cold sound, or adds to the cold sound. The singer is screaming a lot. Atmospheric...Post sludge they say. This band is from Leeds, UK. This is modern post metal. With Hardcore type vocals...and Keyboards playing a big 

Eye - Out of Body

Monotone female vocals, (I'm not sure if monotone is the right word, but some vocalist are wailing all over the place high and low and doing vocal gymnastics. This singer seems to be staying in the pocket more) over some doom with spacey leads. There is a guy that shares vocals sometimes too. High energy doom. This band is from Russia.

Electric Monolith - Resurrect The Dead

Psychedelic rock sort of like Dead Meadow but more European. This is good. A standout.Probably more like Earthless than Dead Meadow, just not so extreme on the extended guitar jam outs. This is way more structured. This band is from Barcelona, Spain.

Electric Huldra - Roadburner

My first thought was, this is what Warrant would sound like if they put out a record in 2018. That's not a knock. This is slick catchy. It's probably a lot closer to Kyuss than Warrant anyway. Catchy stoner rock. This band is from Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Dead Meadow - The Nothing They Need

This is the eighth album from Dead Meadow. They have other albums they've already made that sound like this, but are better. This is good. It sounds like Dead Meadow. Psychedelic Stoner Rock. Kinda dreamy. Kinda lazy. This band is from Washington D.C.

Chrch - Light Will Consume Us All

Three songs = 45 minutes or so. Slow building epic-ness. Dark heavy dynamic Doom. Modern Doom. This band is from Sacramento California.

Atmospheric heaviness with blackened vocals.  Two songs = 24 + minutes.

Baptist - Beacon of Faith

Post Hardcore Noise rock Sludge too. Nice combo of styles. It will wear you out. This band is from Vancouver, British Columbia.

Atomic Mold - Hybrid Slow Flood

Big heavy riffs with sparse vocals that remind me of Windhand, except this is a dude. Second song is really repetitious for 13 minutes or so, then the let loose for the last couple minutes, but that sorta gets monotonous. This is all about big heavy riffs and rockin them into the ground, they're not slogging though, they're rockin it. It's for bobbin your head and going with it. Good recording. Nothing fancy here. They riff it heavy. There's an 18 minute song where they slow it down and get repetitious...slower. I think fans of Acid King would enjoy this. Atomic Mold is in that vein. Just let it wash over you. Then they rock out fast at the end. Instrumental for the most part. This band is from Verona Italy.

Aboleth - Benthos

High energy hard rock that rocks mixed with bluesy slide blues. The focus of this album is the vocalist who wails all over the place. Recording sounds really good.  This band is from Los Angeles California.
