Astral Cult - Astral Cult
Witchgrave - Witchgrave
Retro NWOBHM with gruff vocals. Killer old school Satanic Metal. Venom/Judas Priest
Mount Carmel - Get Pure
The Black Keys and the Black Crowes meet up at the Free/Bad Company concert.
Skull Fist - Chasing the Dream
80's pop Metal that goes really fast a lot. Dokken/Motley Crue type with whiney high vocals, like the guy from White Lion. I was in high school when this style of music was popular ...my friends would make fun of me if they knew I listened to this.

Doctor Smoke - The Witching Hour
2014
This is really good and if you like Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats you should like this one as well.
Brimstone Coven - Brimstone Coven
2014
Retro Sabbath like rock that's not all over the top. Closer to Witchcraft than Electric Wizard. One of my favorite releases from 2014.

Persuader - The Fiction Maze
2014
Triumphant Power Metal. These guys play this kind of music very well. It's just not my thing. They almost win me over though, but not quite really. I can only take this in small doses. A few songs have some super awesome riffs, then it kills it for me when the vocals pop up. Keyboards come in half way through the album, but they take a back seat.
Primal Fear - Delivering The Black
2014
Sounds like 80's Metal. Reminds me of bands like Lizzy Borden or Skid Row, or maybe early Queensryche, but with just one ballad. Good songs. These guys play this kind of music really well.
-This album is on heavy rotation round these parts February 2014. This is the tenth album from these guys and the first I've ever heard.
