The Shrine - Bless Off

Angry controlled high energy rock.

3rd Ear Expeience - Boi

Psychedelic pop space rock freak out spacey rockin. Similar to Monster Magnet, but not so drugged out. Also an early Pink Floyd thing going on here. Lots of spacey trippiness. Almost a post rock thing but not so boring, also some cool rhythms.

Hopelorn - From Withered Branches

This is slick and tight Black Metal. Slow parts then fast parts. Start over again.

Witchgrave - Witchgrave

Retro NWOBHM with gruff vocals. Killer old school satanic metal. Venom meets Judas Priest.

Phantom - Incendiary Serum

Black Metal with slower somber parts here and there.

Queens Of The Stone Age - ...Like Clockwork

Reminds me of David Bowie. I haven't paid any attention to Queens Of The Stone Age since their first couple albums. This is not Stoner rock and one of the better albums released in 2013. I wasn't convinced upon my first listens but this is a grower.

Clutch - Earth Rocker

Jack Black doing Dave Wyndorf. Jamming with Rage Against The Machine. Party rock Frat Style.

Kurballah - Kurballah

Raw Black Metal.

Joan Jett & The Blackhearts - Unvarnished

70's/80's pop rock. Stale. Handclaps. Just get the record with "I Love Rock and Roll".  Lyrics here seem a bit more introspective/personal than just mindless pop/rock anthems, but not a lot. The lyrics are the only thing that makes this unique. Musically it's generic.

The Freeks - Full On

High energy garagey stoner rock. Similar to Fu Manchu/Nebula/Monster Magnet.

Ape Skull - Ape Skull

Sounding like late 60's ish, like a band from about 1968 inspired by Hendrix,Cream ect... slightly funky sometimes. Songs sound like an obscure album lost to time except the production is pretty good relatively speaking.

Black Rainbows - Holy Moon

Stoner rock with a spacey theme. Sparce vocals, cool vibe. Fans of the generic should enjoy this. A lot of guitar jam out in the vein of Earthless.

Sykopath Condor - Sykopath Condor

For fans of Kyuss and Pearl Jam and a bit of Southern Rock vibe in the vocals. Similar to Dave Wyndorf sometimes.

Queensryche - Queensryche

Sounds similar to Operation Mindcrime. I don't know what any of their stuff has sounded like since then. It might all sound like Operation Mindcrime. I haven't been a Queensryche fan since the first ep. This sounds inspirational! New singer sounds like Geoff tate with a cold and never going for the highs of course. I'm kinda surprised this doesn't totally suck.

Metal Church - Generation Nothing

Monotonous mid tempo 80's Metal/Thrash. Sounds likeit might ba aimed towards radio play. Nothing extreme with a catchy riff here and there. This is bland and uninspired.

Fanghole - For Pharaoh

Stoner rockish anxious mysterious post rockish simplified. "Regular" productionish, 90's AmRepish.

Brutus - Behind The Mountains

Bouncy early Black Sabbath vibe. These guys make it their own. Heavy blues rock.

Satan's Host - Virgin Sails

Blackened Death Traditional Heavy Power Metal. This album kills.

Ancle Acid & The Deadbeats - Mind Control

Certainly a top 3 release from 2013. At first I thought this was a bit of a let down from their previous release, but it for sure has found it way into heavy rotation around these parts. Occult psyche doom.

Reaction - Kill The Parasite

Retro Thrash. This is fun...mostly.

Kings Destroy - A Time Of Hunting

In the neighborhood of Alice In Chains/Grand Magus but with more Doom. Good Stuff.

Ringo Deathstar - Gods Dream

I suppose they're going for a My Bloody Valentine thing here.
