The Body - I Shall Die Here

A Bleak difficult listen, and it's awesome!

Weedpecker - Weedpecker

On one hand I really dig the vibe and groove on this, but if I was in a bad mood I would just call it generic Stoner Rock. Mello heavy groovin' I like it.

The Old Wind _ Feast on Your Gone

I really like this style of music heavy heavy doomy screaming and yelling. It's also 2014 and at this point I can't tell these guys apart from a ton of other bands I've heard over the years.

Vintage Cucumber - Yoki Style

Music for when you look at the stars at night, or go to the aquarium.

Dune - Progenitor

Stoner Rock/Post Rock

Argus - Beyond the Martyrs

Traditional Metal updated and powerful and crunchy. You'll hear some Maiden in there. Killer guitar playing.

Anion - Without Solace

Aggressive sludge y noisey rockin. Discordant dual vocal angry ness  . Get pummeled! Good stuff.

Age of Taurus - Desperate Souls of Tortured Times

Up tempo stoner rock with melodic vocals. Good album.

Earth Witch - Earthbound

Doin' the more primitive Black Sabbath thing with Red Fang type vocals. Head bobbin' Shiz! Reminds me of Green & Wood.

Paysage d' Hiver - Das Tor

Atmospheric Black Metal. Epic!. Put it on when you go to sleep for Black Metal Nightmares.

Lumerians - The High Frontier

Psychedelic rock somewhere between Wooden Sjips and Spaceman #.

Head in a Jar - Downtown Meltdown

Crossover Thrash

Germ - Grief

Up tempo black metal that touches on the atmospheric stuff. No surprises here.

Butchers of Sky Valley - Butchers of Sky Valley

Mello vibe rockin'

Assblaster - Blastphemy Vol II Veni Vidi Blast!

Tough guy hard rock stoner rock

Bamboo Diet - Idimmu

Angular arty rock with David Yow type vocals. Reminds me of the Jesus Lizard.

Stoned Cobra - High and Mighty

Epic stoner rock. Too easy going, it makes me loose interest. These guys are good and not totally sincere.

Mount Salem - Endless

Stoner rock with female vocals like Witch Mountain. Solid band No surprises here.

The Entrance Band - Face The Sun

Psychedelic pop rocks. 60's inspired. Nice production. Lots of guitar effects. Song seems a little long winded, but the good parts are really good.

Melvins - Tres Cabrones

Sounds like the Melvins.

Hollow Phobos - Get High and Kill Yourself

4 songs. I don't know where one ends and the next starts. Reminds me of someone breathing and sometimes screaming. Horror movie soundtrack to 2001. Unsettling.

Church Whip - Psychedelic Nightmare

Primitive Black Metal

Spiral - A Parasite's Guide to ReWriting History

A 30 minute song that builds and buildsto a climax, and a 27 minute song that seems like more of a journey. The only time I could really listen to this is when I'm going to bed, or maybe a long car drive. Soundtrack music.

Brimstone Coven - II

Retro in the most awesome of ways. For fans of Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats.

Satyricon - Satyricon

Boring two piece Black Metal that leans towards the slow side.

Three Wolf Moon - Three Wolf Moon

70's inspired indie rock with an organ.

The Knack - Serious Fun

Competent songs that are not very good.

Black Skies - Circadian Meditations

Heavy psychedelic alternative rockin' with guy and girl vocals. Lots of guitar playing.

Tabula Rasa - Tabula Rasa

Jazzy pop light progressive with vocals that remind me of a teenage Eddie Brickel. These guys should fit in well down at the hippy jam band fest.

Black Sabbath - Dehumanizer

Not a memorable song on here, but it rocks when I listen to it. Plus its got Dio so you can't complain.

The Crystal Caravan - With Them You Walk Alone

70's inspired rock. Indie stoner rock. Good Songs, These guys are closer to the Black Angels than Black Sabbath.

Bloody Hammers - Spiritual Relics

Retro gateway Doom with a good singer. Reminds me of Dax Riggs or Corey Taylor. Keyboards too,

Deaf Heaven - Sunbather

Slick production black metal that rips and screams for a while then is quiet for a while then rips, ect over and over. I've heard these guys refered to as the Coldplay of Black Metal. Melodramatic Black Metal.

Astral Cult - Astral Cult

Killer up tempo Doom. Female singer that can wear on me after a while, She does lots of wailing and holding notes and stuff. Rippin' guitar solos.

3rd Ear Experience - BOI

Psychedelic pop space rock freak out. Spacey rockin'. Similar to Monster Magnet, but not so drugged out, also an Early Pink Floyd thing going on here. Lots of spacey trippiness. Almost a Post Rock thing but not so boring. Some cool rhythms.

Hopelorn - From Withered Branches

This is slick and tight. Black Metal slow parts then fast parts.

The Shrine - Bless Off

Angry controlled high energy rock

Witchgrave - Witchgrave

Retro NWOBHM with gruff vocals. Killer old school Satanic Metal. Venom/Judas Priest

Phantom - Incendary Serum

Black Metal with stoner somber parts here and there.

Serpent Venom - Of Things Seen and Unseen

Killer rockin' Doom.

The Socks - The Socks

Garage/stoner rock

Huey - Ace

I don't really care for instrumental music.

Mount Carmel - Get Pure

The Black Keys and the Black Crowes meet up at the Free/Bad Company concert.

Skull Fist - Chasing the Dream

80's pop Metal that goes really fast a lot. Dokken/Motley Crue type with whiney high vocals, like the guy from White Lion. I was in high school when this style of music was popular friends would make fun of me if they knew I listened to this.

Civil War - The Killer Angels

Sounds like 80's Dio solo stuff at it's best, otherwise I guess it's Power Metal.

Mudhoney - Vanishing Point

Garage rock with some Blue Cheer influence.

Akris - Akris

Drum and Bass only. Girl singer and it's awesome. Punk Stoner Doom.
