2011
Spacemen 3 and Velvet Underground rolled into a ball. Pavement, Devo and The Cars rolled into a smaller ball. Then, smashed up and squeezed into Moon Duo.

Municipal Waste - The Fatal Feast
2012
Retro crossover. Probably a couple D.R.I. albums you should have before this. Heck, there's probably a couple Municipal Waste albums you should have before this one.
Iron Maiden - Piece Of Mind
1983
People say this is the weakest in Iron Maidens run of great albums. Well, I don't know about that.Monday, April 16, 2012

Angel Witch - As Above, So Below
2012
New Angel Witch sounds a lot like old Angel Witch, but not as good.
Virus - The Agent That Shapes The Desert
2011
Early Sonic Youth and Hammers Of Misfortune share a donut at the Celtic Faire.
Thot - Obscured By The Wind
2011
Faith No More meets Rammstien for lunch in France while Nine Inch Nails poisons the food.
Electric Wizard - Legalize Drugs And Murder
2012
Sounds like outtakes from one of the last couple Electric Wizard albums. Like Metallica, Electric Wizard will never live up to expectations. Two songs
Stubb - Stubb
2012
High quality 70's style stoner rock. Earthless, Pearls and Brass, Dead Meadow type guitar hero stuff.

Black Breath - Forward To Regression
2012
Punishing hardcore. Sounds like the album you wish Slayer would put out. Recommended for all angry teenagers.
Maruta - Forward Into Regression
Crazy chaotic hardcore punishment.
-Been gettin' lots of air time in the car... when I can take it.

Premonition 13 - 13
No surprises from Wino here, but I think I like this one better than some of his previous projects.
Honeycomb Bones - Evil Age
Garagey-underground rock that's got a White Stripes vibe.
-Roots garage rock.
Electric Sister - The Lost Art Of Rock & Roll
High energy rock with some swagger. -It's sounds like a band Slash would put together or Nikki Sixx. Dudes trying to stay relevant, but their heyday was a long time ago.
Drone Throne - Everybody Dies Alone
With a name like Drone Throne I would expect something like Sunno)))...these guys are angry doomy metal.

40 Watt Sun - The Inside Room
Sounds like Michael Stipe or Eddie Vedder doing a melancholy sad heavy album. It's got a one man band feel. There's five songs, but it all just sounds like one long song, or the same song over and over if you prefer. Lot's of good reviews out there for this, so I'm dissapointed it's not better.
