John Mayall Bluesbreakers With Eric Clapton - John Mayall Bluesbreakers With Eric Clapton

Urban blues funneled through 60's English dudes. Cranked up distorted Marshall stack overdrive solos. Jimi Hendrix style.
Landmark album.
Groovy Hammond organ too.
Don't forget about the drum solo.
Awesome.

This record makes Sadie dance more than any other.

  2. Jimi Hendrix style?
    How's that possible?
Hendrix heard this and became a HUGE fan of Clapton. When he came to England, Clapton was the only person he wanted to meet - because of Slowhand's incendiary playing on this album.

  3. Well, I mean that it sounds like a Marshall stack all cranked up like Hendrix. You know, maybe it's Buddy Guy style? I'm just saying it's a sound that's usualy related with Hendrix. This pre dates the first Hedrix album by a year or so and is the first album to have that cranked up guitar sound. If you have not heard this record you might have heard of Jimi Hendrix. It's just a reference point. You Know.
